The  Sixth Fryderyk Chopin Competition for Young Pianists

November 2-3, 2021

 

The  Fryderyk Chopin Competition for Young Pianists was established in 2008 by the Georgian Music Competitions Fund with the support of the Embassy of Poland in Tbilisi. The competition is held once in every three years and is open to the young pianists of 12 -16 years (including), from all regions of Georgia

The Sixth Fryderyk Chopin Competition for young pianists was delivered on November 2-3, 2021 in Tbilisi. There were 6 contestants participating in the competition. The drawing of lots (November 1) and the audition (November 2) took place at the Tbilisi State Conservatoire Recital Hall. The award ceremony and the Gala Concert of the winners was held at the Tbilisi State Conservatoire Grand Hall on November 3. During the closing evening the director of The Georgian Music Competitions Fund - Mrs. Manana Doijashvili and The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland, His Excellency Mariusz Maszkiewicz greeted the audience with welcoming speeches.
